The company still expects to release Skylake in the second half of the year in the back-to-school time frame. The CEO also added that Intel was still timing the 10nm manufacturing process. Intel expressed the intent to reveal the progress with 10nm and its approximate time of introduction into the market at the November conference call.
The four new additions feature the same 4.5W TDP, 2/4 Cores/Threads and the same Intel HD 5300 graphics engine. However they are clocked slightly higher than the previous Core M chips released by Intel back in September. This means that the yields are getting better. Which is always a welcomed sight.

LGA 2011-v3 (Socket R3, also referred to as LGA 2011-3) is another updated generation of the socket, used for Haswell-E and Haswell-EP CPUs and Broadwell-E,[7] which were released in August and September 2014, respectively. Updated socket generations are physically similar to LGA 2011, but different electrical signals, ILM keying and integration of DDR4 memory controller rather than DDR3 prevent backward compatibility with older CPUs.[8]
Ubuntu users can find packages and installation instructions for the latest Graphics Compute Runtime v20.40.18075 at github.com /intel/compute-runtime/releases. It is possible to convert those .deb packages to other formats using alien but your mileage will vary. Converted packages make LuxMark immediately crash and burn upon startup so it's not something you can rely on (we did not test LuxMark with the Ubuntu packages on Ubuntu, the result may or may not be the same). 2ff7e9595c
